The questions asks it all and what can I do to reduce all that heat? I have a 1967 Pontiac GTO and it overheats all the god dang time and my friend said that he heard a lot of the heat comes from the cams what can I do about this?

Two easy things to start with.

1. Install an oversize radiator.
2. Change oil and oil filters.

If you notice it starting to overheat and must continue driving, turn on your heater, since that pulls heat from the engine compartment.
