I have a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro and was wondering when the transmission is slippinf from 2nd to 3rd gear, would this mean I need a new transmission? Or could it be a fault with the computer sensor inside?

Have you had it serviced? It could be low on oil, or need the bands or clutch packs adjusted. Get it serviced, you may be lucky.

    if trans is full then internal problem with the forward frictions needs to be rebuilt
